2. Tennessee Titans- Leonard Williams, DT/DE, USC

Williams is the best defensive player in this draft, and he would definitely be in play for Tampa if they didn’t already have one of the best players in the league at his position, Gerald McCoy. Williams has elite pass-rushing potential, though the 6-foot-5, 300-pounder’s greatest skill is his incredible drive and athleticism, which allows him to thrive as a run defender and move quickly to all areas of the field.

Williams finished second among all Trojans players this year with 80 tackles, so if he stays at that level of production in the NFL, there won’t be any defensive lineman in the league that’s able to rival his ability in pursuit except J.J. Watt. Williams should be a plug-and-play impact player as a 5-technique defensive tackle in the Titans’ 3-4 defense.
