Jacob Hurrell, LS – Baltimore Ravens

Mizzou is one step closer to becoming “Long Snapper U,” as Jacob Hurrell will follow in the footsteps of Beau Brinkley and get the chance to push for a spot on an NFL roster. Brinkley, who snapped for the Tigers from 2008-11, is pretty secure in his role with the Tennessee Titans. If Hurrell is as precise with his snaps in Baltimore as he was in Columbia, he may one day achieve a similar level of job security.

In all honesty, his chances of unseating incumbent Ravens long snapper Morgan Cox, who has been with the Ravens for the past seven seasons and is under contract through 2020, are extremely low. But if there’s an injury or some other type of unexpected event either in Baltimore or elsewhere around the league, at least Hurrell will have some NFL experience on his resume.
