1. Tucker McCann, K

The one freshman that won’t face overwhelming competition for a starting role this year is kicker Tucker McCann, who is already penciled into the starting job. After a long run of bringing in kickers as walk-ons and only awarding them scholarships after they’d won the starting job, Mizzou awarded McCann a scholarship straight out of high school, and rightfully so, as he was ranked the top kicking prospect in the nation by Kohl’s Kicking Camps. Barring a stunning turn of events, McCann will be the Tigers’ top kicker from the get-go. After receiving some early exposure to the college game as an early enrollee at Mizzou this spring, McCann should be all good to go this fall and has a chance to be the best kicker that the Tigers have had in a long time.
