Coaching

Is coaching a question? Who the hell knows? Ken Hitchcock has made some interesting decisions, like Troy Brouwer ranking eighth on the team in “time on ice”, or being the third shooter in a recent shootout. It’s definitely been a fun pastime in St. Louis to question our current coaches. Hitch ranks fourth in the league in wins all-time, but you could question whether or not time and the game are beginning to pass him by. If the Blues continue to flounder, Hitch’s seat will only get hotter.

So what are the Blues to do? Players have returned or will be returning from injury. It has been tradition for the Blues to use returning players as a trade alternative. The Blues may not have that luxury this year. Fans are impatient, and rightfully so, as postseason success hasn’t happened. The Blues have many, many questions. The problem is that they might not know which questions to address. That may be the biggest problem of all.
