Austin Hill

Hill suffered a brutal torn ACL in 2013 that he’s never fully recovered from, but if a team is willing to be patient with him and give him some time in the program, it’s possible that Hill could return to the form that caused him to look like a future first-rounder prior to his injury. Working mostly as a slot receiver, the 6-foot-3, 212-pound Hill had 81 catches for 1,364 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2012. He had some nice moments on the pre-draft circuit, including a pretty impressive performance in the East-West Shrine Game, but he still went undrafted. Hill was released by the Oakland Raiders following the team’s rookie minicamp.

Considering the magnitude of Hill’s injury, it’s highly possible that he’ll never fully regain his ability. But with an open spot on a 90-man roster, it can’t hurt for the Rams to give a chance to a guy like Hill who has previously been so productive as a college player.
