Cornerbacks (5): Lamarcus Joyner, Janoris Jenkins, Trumaine Johnson, E.J. Gaines, Marcus Roberson

After years of struggling to build a formidable cornerback group, it looks like the Rams have finally done so, as any of the five players listed above would fit comfortably into one of the team’s three regular corner roles. Purely based on production, the least worthy of the group may actually be Joyner, the 2014 second-rounder, who was somewhat of a disappointment as a rookie, but he’ll probably be given every possible chance to prove that he can be a long-term contributor.

Unless an injury occurs, the end is probably nearing for 2013 fifth-rounder Brandon McGee, who frankly has already been given more chances than he probably deserved. If a young corner is going to push for a roster spot during the preseason, look for undrafted rookie Imoan Claiborne of Northwestern State to step up and deliver a challenge.
