Safeties (5): Rodney McLeod, T.J. McDonald, Mark Barron, Maurice Alexander, Cody Davis
Much like at the cornerback position, the Rams look to have more depth than they’ve had in a long time at the safety position in 2015. McLeod and McDonald experienced success as the starters in 2014, and if they should falter, the Rams have a talents former first-rounder in Mark Barron to fall back on. Throw in 2014 fourth-rounder Maurice Alexander, who started off slow but show some signs of intrigue on special teams later in the season, and Cody Davis, a special teams ace who can contribute from scrimmage if necessary, and the Rams have a pretty solid safety group. He’ll be a major long shot, but 2014 seventh-rounder Christian Bryant will also be looking to push for a spot after injuries robbed him of his rookie training camp last season.
