St. Louis Cardinals vs. Cincinnati Reds, April 10: Live Stream, Start Time, TV info and More

The St. Louis Cardinals head into Cincinnati on Friday evening to begin a three-game weekend series with the Reds, who have been considered by many to be the Cards’ fiercest division rival in recent years as the Cubs have struggled and Cincinnati has thrived.

Though the Reds have started off 3-0 this season, things may be different this year. They had a bit of a mini-firesale this offseason, letting go of impact starters Mat Latos and Alfredo Simon and reloading with pitchers like unproven prospect Anthony DeSclafani and Cuban defector Raisel Iglesias. With the high level of competition in the NL Central and the gradual regression of the Reds’ primary impact bats such as Brandon Phillips, Joey Votto, and Jay Bruce, many have picked the Reds to finish last in the Central this season.

Yet another one of the Reds’ new starters this year is former Cardinal Jason Marquis, who won a job in spring training on a minor-league contract. Marquis, who has now pitched for eight different big-league teams, went 42-37 with a 4.60 ERA in three seasons as a Cardinal from 2004 to 2006.
