Rams Lose To The Broncos

The Rams lost to the Denver Broncos 27-26. Here are my thoughts.

- I guess in a meaningless game you might as well go for the win. However, I didn’t see the point of going for 2. Just putting it out there.

- How about Tavon Austin’s punt return? Yeah that was a thing of beauty.

- Sam Bradford was again solid tonight. Austin Davis was decent but a pedestrian night at quarterback.

- 446 yards given up by the Rams defense tonight. Not a good night statistically for the Rams defense in terms of yards.

- If you like turnovers, then the Rams did awesome tonight. Four turnovers and one fumble return for a touchdown. I guess when you can’t stop them, you have to force turnovers to stay close. That’s what the Rams did.

- So the Rams haven’t won a preseason game yet, I am not too worried since the statistics on preseason success or failure has little bearing on the regular season. The Rams finish the preseason Thursday against the Baltimore Ravens. Then they host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 1 in the regular season. It’s here folks. Time to get excited.
