The St. Louis Rams will begin training camp on July 25th, Arch Authority will breakdown key position groups and battles that will define the 2013 St. Louis Rams. Today we will breakdown the Wide Receiver position group:

Starters: Tavon Austin (rookie), and Chris Givens.

Reserves: Stedman Bailey (rookie), Austin Pettis, Brian Quick, Raymond Radway, Emory Blake (rookie), Andrew Helmick (rookie), Nick Johnson, Demetrius Fields (rookie).

Outlook:

The wide receiver position is one of much change for the St. Louis Rams. Danny Amendola is with the Patriots and Brandon Gibson is with the Miami Dolphins. If the Rams want to go to an up tempo style offense, getting wide receivers Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey out of West Virginia will help. The Rams are very young at wide receiver with five rookies and 4 second or third year players expected to make a contribution this year. Tavon Austin will likely get the majority of the targets and the catches. I expect Stedman Bailey to make the team and the wide receiver position to be better with the new wide receivers with the Rams.
