– He talked about Henry Josey and how he looked good in spring ball. Talked about Russell Hansbrough and feels he can contribute to the offensive gameplan.

– Even though he brought James Franklin to SEC Media Days, the QB competion is wide open. He didn’t go into detail about who was involved in the competition but Matey Mauk is certainly in the mix. Coach Pinkel talked about James Franklin as a great representative for the University of Missouri and that is why Pinkel brought him to SEC Media Days.

– According to Coach Pinkel, Dorial Green-Beckham needs to get the ball more. He talked about having a set number of catches for him each week. He wouldn’t go into detail about the number of touches per week but said he needed to get more involved in the offense.

– He spoke about traveling to College Station 3 years in a row and Pinkel said he complained about it but apparently no one would listen. However, he did express excitement that the Aggies are coming to Columbia.
