Ryan Poehling, C, St. Cloud State
As a guy who has average size, hasn’t put up a ridiculous stat line, and probably won’t start playing professionally for a couple more years, Poehling would be one of the more “boring” candidates that the Blues could select in the first round. Among the Blues’ current players, Poehling’s style probably most closely resembles that of Paul Stastny, though he has the potential to be steadier as a two-way performer.
