Prospects who could intrigue St. Louis Blues in 2017 NHL Draft

Callan Foote, D, Kelowna Rockets (WHL)
Foote, the son of longtime Blues-killer Adam Foote, is a steadily-built two-way defenseman who tells NHL.com that he models his game after that of Alex Pietrangelo. While it’s hard for a defender to get better than the Blues’ captain, and it will be a lofty goal for Foote to do so, the 6-foot-4, 215-pound 18-year-old looks as if he has the potential to develop into a more consistent and aggressive offensive contributor than Pietrangelo. He had 51 assists for the Rockets in 2016-17 and does a good job of throwing his body around in front of the net.
