Henri Jokiharju, D, Portland Winterhawks (WHL)

Hey, look, it’s another Finnish defenseman. Jokiharju’s game is quite different from those of the Blues’ current defensemen, as he’s not too active as an offensive contributor and doesn’t have great size, measuring in at just 6-foot and 188 pounds. He’s an exceptionally quick skater and is very polished for a just-turned-18-year-old in his own zone, so he might be the perfect guy to balance out a few offensively-focused blueliners like Vince Dunn, Jordan Schmaltz, and Jake Walman who are currently coming up through the Blues’ system.
