St. Louis Cardinals select eight players on Day 2 of MLB Draft

RD10. Brett Seeburger, LHP, San Diego State

With their final pick Tuesday, the Cardinals took Seeburger, a stocky lefty who has seen plenty of action as both a starter and reliever over his four-season college career. He was never particularly consistent during his career at SDSU and throws his fastball with below-average velocity, but the Cardinals obviously saw something they liked and will try to develop him into a contributor in the minor leagues.
