68. Britt Reames

Reames was the first and most successful of six Cardinals players to wear the No. 68, posting a 2.88 ERA with a 1.30 WHIP over eight appearances (including seven starts) during the 2000 season. He also made four relief appearances during the postseason that year as the Cardinals advanced to the NLCS, posting a 0.93 ERA over 9 2/3 innings. Along with Fernando Tatis, Reames was dealt to the Montreal Expos for Dustin Hermanson and Steve Kline after the 2000 season and struggled over the remainder of his six-season major-league career.
