60. Tommy Pham

12 different Cardinals players have worn No. 60, and while most of those individuals haven’t done anything of note while wearing the number, Tommy Pham made the most of his opportunity while rocking No. 60 during the 2015 season. Pham, who broke into the majors late in the 2014 season while wearing 60 but went 0-for-2 at the plate, got his first extensive big-league playing time in 2015 and thrived, posting a .268/.347/.477 slash line with five homers, four of which came from September 1 to the end of the season, a period during which he hit .303/.356/.606 with 13 RBI. Pham topped it all off with a pinch-hit homer in Game 1 of the Cardinals’ divisional series with the Cubs that postseason.

Pham switched to No. 28 before the 2016 season, and as luck would have it, he’d experience a drop-off in his first year wearing a “good number.” Fortunately, Pham has rebounded during 2017, earning the Cardinals’ starting left fielder job.
