What would be the best way for the Cardinals to manage the roster crunch when Kolten Wong returns from the disabled list?

St. Louis Cardinals second baseman Kolten Wong, who hasn’t played since May 26 while dealing with a left elbow strain is likely to return from the 10-day disabled list this weekend as the Cardinals face the Philadelphia Phillies at Busch Stadium.

The 26-year-old Wong is having a breakout campaign at the plate, posting a .792 OPS through his first 157 plate appearances, so he’s definitely earned the right to play every day again upon his return. The tough question–if it can really be called that–is what the Cardinals’ corresponding move should be so that Wong can rejoin the 25-man roster.
