73. Ricardo Rincón

Rincón, who wore No. 73 throughout his 11-season MLB career, was one of the worst free agent signings in recent Cardinals history, making just five appearances after signing a two-year, $2.9 million-dollar contract in 2006. The lefty specialist posted a 10.80 ERA and 3.00 WHIP in those five outings before undergoing Tommy John and surgeries to repair a torn labrum and rotator cuff and being released before the 2007 season.
