Sean Culkin, TE – Los Angeles Chargers

Beyond starters Hunter Henry and Antonio Gates, the Los Angeles Chargers don’t really have any other tight ends that are absolute locks to make their roster, so Culkin could potentially find an opportunity in Los Angeles (definitely did not originally write San Diego there). Culkin’s greatest asset was always his 6-foot-6, 250-pound frame, which made him an imposing endzone target, but he became more of a legitimate receiving threat as his collegiate career went on.

Culkin established career highs in catches (24) and receiving yards (282) over 10 games in 2016, and if he can continue that growth as a receiver during his first NFL training camp, perhaps he’ll have a chance to beat out guys like Sean McGrath, Jeff Cumberland, and Asante Cleveland for a roster spot in Los Angeles.
