St. Louis Blues Face Off Against Old Friends in Visit to Calgary Flames
Projected Lineup
Ken Hitchcock has rotated the trio of Dmitrij Jaskin, Magnus Paajarvi, and Ty Rattie in and out of the lineup rather frequently this season, and with Jaskin having played Thursday, it’s quite possible that Paajarvi or Rattie could replace him on Saturday. Paajarvi and Jaskin each have one point through three games this season, while Rattie was held pointless in his only regular season game.
Defenseman Carl Gunnarsson, who has missed the past two games due to injury, could return in Calgary. He’d likely bump Robert Bortuzzo from the lineup in that case, but since Hitchcock seems to prefer Bortuzzo over Gunnarsson in some situations anyway, it seems as if Gunnarsson may need to return to 100 percent health before he gets back in the lineup.

Here’s how Saturday’s lineup could look:
Robby Fabbri-Paul Stastny-Alexander Steen
David Perron-Jaden Schwartz-Vladimir Tarasenko
Dmitrij Jaskin-Patrik Berglund-Nail Yakupov
Scottie Upshall-Kyle Brodziak-Ryan Reaves
Jay Bouwmeester-Alex Pietrangelo
Carl Gunnarsson-Kevin Shattenkirk
Joel Edmundson-Colton Parayko
Jake Allen
Update: According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Jeremy Rutherford, there could be some rather radical lineup changes in store for Saturday night’s game. The Fabbri-Stastny-Steen line will be reunited, while Jaden Schwartz will start at center between David Perron and Vladimir Tarasenko. Dmitrij Jaskin will remain on the third line, while Carl Gunnarsson will return and play alongside Kevin Shattenkirk.
