Projected Lineup

On Monday, the Blues practiced with Jaden Schwartz–who is a longshot to play on Tuesday as he recovers from an elbow injury suffered in training camp–but were without centers Kyle Brodziak and Jori Lehtera and defenseman Carl Gunnarsson. Lehtera won’t travel with the team, so he’s officially out on Tuesday, but Brodziak and Gunnarsson are question marks.

Since it’s so early in the season, it seems more likely than not that they’ll be out Tuesday, which would mean the Blues would have to utilize all 20 of their healthy skaters. That could result some interesting line maneuvers, with Alexander Steen and Dmitrij Jaskin likely shifting inside to center. We really don’t have much of an idea of what the lines will end up looking like for Tuesday night’s game, but check back here on Tuesday afternoon for a clearer look.

For now, here’s a guess at how the lines will be formatted.

Robby Fabbri-Paul Stastny-Ty Rattie

David Perron-Alexander Steen-Vladimir Tarasenko

Magnus Paajarvi-Patrik Berglund-Nail Yakupov

Scottie Upshall-Dmitrij Jaskin-Ryan Reaves

Jay Bouwmeester-Alex Pietrangelo

Robert Bortuzzo-Kevin Shattenkirk

Joel Edmundson-Colton Parayko

Jake Allen

Scratches: Kyle Brodziak, Jori Lehtera, Carl Gunnarsson
