The St. Louis Blues begin training camp later this week. We have some questions about how the 2016-17 season will play out.

Though a good chunk of the St. Louis Blues’ roster is already taking part in unofficial workouts in St. Louis, the team will officially kick off training camp later this week, quickly graduating to exhibition play as they take on the Columbus Blue Jackets in a pair of split-squad games on Sunday. Especially because up to eight players could be late getting into training camp as they participate in the World Cup of Hockey, there will be plenty of questions going into the preseason. The Blues dealt with a tumultuous, high-drama offseason, and they’ll undoubtedly be eager to get back on the ice and prove that the loss of their starting goalie, their captain, and perhaps their most impactful forward during the postseason won’t keep them from being competitive again this season.
