Great Performances by St. Louis Cardinals Players Throughout All-Star Game History
Dizzy Dean, 1936
In the fourth All-Star Game ever played, Dean delivered a fantastic effort as the starting pitcher for the National League. Over three scoreless, no-hit innings, Dean struck out three and walked two. He also picked off Lou Gehrig at first base in a game that the NL would go on to win 4-3, with Dean picking up the win.
