Blues Lineup

Blues head coach Ken Hitchcock said on Friday that there could be lineup changes on Saturday, according to the Blues’ official Twitter, in order to “help ourselves and maybe have more depth.” While Hitchcock’s go-to guys when he’s looked to make a switch this postseason have been forward Steve Ott and defenseman Robert Bortuzzo, his quote makes it sound as if maybe he’d prefer to utilize a player who hasn’t seen action yet this postseason, following the lead of his Stars counterpart Lindy Ruff, who has utilized guys like Curtis McKenzie (three regular season games played) and Brett Ritchie (eight regular season games) during this series.

In that case, perhaps he’ll look to forwards Magnus Paajarvi and Dmitrij Jaskin, or to defensemen Chris Butler and Peter Harrold. The most likely players to come out of the lineup would figure to be forward Ryan Reaves and defenseman Joel Edmundson, both of whom have already been healthy scratches at certain points during the playoffs.
