Stars Lineup
We’ll see if Lindy Ruff has any more tricks up his sleeve on Thursday; it wouldn’t be a surprise for the coach who decided to play forward Curtis McKenzie, a participant in three NHL games this season, rather than Val Nichushkin, and who has consistently switched back and forth between goalies Antii Niemi and Kari Lehtonen. After his team gave up six goals on Tuesday, it would almost be surprising if he didn’t make some changes to his defensive corps. Jordie Benn (64 regular season games played, one playoff game this season), Patrick Nemeth (38 regular season games), or Jamie Oleksiak (19 regular season games) could be candidates for insertion if Ruff really wants to shake things up on the blueline.
