St. Louis Blues Look to Even Series with Dallas Stars on Sunday
Blues Lineup
Though the absence of Scottie Upshall, which has become a frequent occurrence since the fourth-line forward suffered what appeared to be an upper-body injury in Game 7 against Chicago, leaves some uncertainty about the Blues’ lineup on Sunday, they’re only expected to make one change: swapping Ryan Reaves for Steve Ott, who has spent the past six games in Reaves’ typical fourth line right wing spot.
Reaves dressed for the first two games of the Blackhawks series, accumulating an even rating over a collective 12:21 of ice time. He’d played quite well with Upshall and Kyle Brodziak over the latter portion of the regular season, but the big, physical winger was a logical choice to come out of the lineup against Chicago’s speedy, finesse lineup. Versus a Dallas team that he’s scored a goal against this season, he’s a better matchup fit.
Here’s what the Blues’ lineup is expected to look like on Sunday:
Jaden Schwartz–Jori Lehtera–Vladimir Tarasenko
Alexander Steen-Paul Stastny–Troy Brouwer
Robby Fabbri–Patrik Berglund–David Backes
Scottie Upshall–Kyle Brodziak–Ryan Reaves
Jay Bouwmeester–Alex Pietrangelo
Joel Edmundson-Kevin Shattenkirk
