1. Brett Hull

102 games (1988-98, all-time best in Blues playoff history), 67 goals (Blues all-time best), 50 assists, +7 rating, 51 penalty minutes, 15 game-winning goals (two in overtime)

Brett Hull is widely regarded as the best player in Blues franchise history, so it naturally follows that he’d be the franchise’s best postseason performer as well. Hull is the Blues’ all-time leader in postseason games played, goals, and points, and his 15 game-winning goals in the playoffs give him the most in franchise history by a wide margin (Larry Keenan has the next-most with six). The Blues won seven playoff series during Hull’s tenure, just under a third of all the playoff series the franchise has ever won during its 48-season history.

While the Blues never even got close to the Stanley Cup Finals with Hull on the team, he was part of the greatest era in franchise history, helping the team to 11 straight playoff appearances in the midst of a franchise streak that ended up lasting 25 straight seasons. Despite the fact that he went on to win Stanley Cups with both the Dallas Stars and Detroit Red Wings after leaving St. Louis, Hull will certainly be thrilled if and when the Blues finally bring the Cup to St. Louis, as he’s now one of the organization’s most public faces in his role as executive vice president.
