St. Louis Blues Take Second Stab at Finishing Series with Chicago Blackhawks
Blues Lineup
The Blackhawks will get winger Andrew Shaw, who embarrassed himself and earned a suspension in Game 4 by flipping off the officials and yelling homophobic slurs from the penalty box (all of which was caught on camera), back for Game 6. Shaw will play with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, giving the Blackhawks a line that’s probably the strongest one they’ve used through the course of this series. The Hawks’ lineup is expected to remain about as consistent between games as it’s been thus far, since Shaw bumping Brandon Mashinter from active duty is expected to be the only change for Game 6. In a rather amazing turn of events, the Blackhawks will once again sit defensemen Christian Ehrhoff, Michal Roszival, and Viktor Svedberg, who played a combined 126 regular season games and seven playoff games this season, and they’ll utilize blueliner David Rundblad, who just played nine regular season games (none after December 13) for the Hawks this year. Rundblad received 6:51 of ice time, the lowest of any player on either side, during Thursday’s 83-minute affair.
Here’s what Saturday’s Blackhawks lineup is expected to look like:
Andrew Shaw– Jonathan Toews– Patrick Kane
Artemi Panarin– Artem Anisimov– Teuvo Teravainen
Andrew Ladd– Marcus Kruger–Marian Hossa
Richard Panik–Andrew Desjardins–Dale Weise
Eric Gustafsson–Brent Seabrook
Duncan Keith-David Rundblad
