St. Louis Blues Look to Set the Tone in Game 1 of Series vs. Chicago Blackhawks

Blues Lineup

The Blues’ lineup should be pretty similar to the full-health lineup they employed near the tail end of the season, before injuries to guys like Robby Fabbri, David Backes, Jay Bouwmeester, and Carl Gunnarsson made adjustments necessary. Backes returned to practice on Tuesday after missing the final three games of the season with a lower-body injury.

Things seem to be pretty set in stone for the moment, with the only real possibility for change coming if coach Ken Hitchcock decides to put Steve Ott, who has not played since December 5 while recovering from a pair of torn hamstrings, then dealing with a bout of colitis over the past week or so, into the lineup in place of Ryan Reaves. Ott was just cleared for game action within the past couple days, so it seems more likely that he will get into the mix later in the series if he does at all.
