Adam Wainwright will donate all money to relief in Flint, Michigan.

Adam Wainwright has had a history with charity. The 33-year old runs the charity Big League Impact along with his wife. The charity has  donated over $1,000,000 to clean water initiatives across the world such as Haiti and Honduras. Now, the big leaguer has turned his attention to somewhere closer to home: Flint, Michigan. And he’s doing it in a way that appeals to a large chunk of society in the form of a massive March Madness pool.

The pool, which is free and open to the public, has attracted many celebrity competitors. These include Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer, Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett, Hall of Famer John Smoltz, and former St. Louis Ram James Laurinatis. While the pool is free, the charity has encouraged donations. According to the St Louis Post-Dispatch, the prize for winning will be a “visit to one of the finer golf courses in the country.”
