St. Louis Blues Begin Three-Game Western Canadian Swing Monday vs. Calgary Flames
The St. Louis Blues begin a three-game tour of Western Canada on Monday as they visit the Calgary Flames.
The St. Louis Blues will begin a three-game swing in Western Canada–one that’s sandwiched into the middle of a five-game road trip–on Monday, as they visit the Calgary Flames and battle them for the third and final time this season. The Blues have emerged victorious in both of their previous meetings with Calgary this season, winning 4-3 on October 13 at the Scotiabank Saddledome, then winning 3-2 on December 19 at Scottrade Center.
Calgary is currently engaged in a three-way tie for the worst record in the Western Conference, having gone 28-35-5 this season. They’re in sixth place in the Pacific Division, and they’ve won just two of their past 11 games.
The Blues will be looking to extend their winning streak, which already stands at a season-best six games, to seven straight on Monday. Seeing as the Dallas Stars are idle on Monday, the Blues can take sole possession of first place in the Central Division with either a win or an overtime loss.
