DOWN: Tyler Lyons, LHP

While the fact that he’s out of options should buy him some extra security this spring, Tyler Lyons is a pitcher who needs to impress over the next month to make the Cardinals’ roster. He didn’t do that in his most recent outing, as he gave up two hits and a walk and allowed two runs to score on Monday. There should be plenty more opportunities for Lyons to cement his status as a member of the bullpen this spring, but he’ll need to have some better relief outings to do so.
