Mizzou Tigers basketball players arrested for drug paraphernalia and suspended.
According to the Columbia Tribune,Mizzou Tigersmen’s basketball playersJakeenan GantandRussell Woodshave been arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. The pair were arrested last night. This continues the problems in the Mizzou Tigers athletic department; DETerry Beckner Jr.wasarrested for marijuana possessionand QBMaty Maukwas dismissed from the team after a video surfaced alleging he snorted cocaine. Late, Mizzou self-imposed a postseason ban after NCAA violations surfaced.
According to Dave Matter, the arrests stemmed from a raid on the pair’s apartment.
Police raided Gant & Woods' apartment as part of a robbery investigation, looking for items stolen by their roommates.

The detectives found a stash of marijuana and multiple pieces of paraphenalia, including a grinder and “marijuana smoking devices”.
