Which athlete delivered the best “sneaky good” season in St. Louis sports during 2015?

While it’s always fun to have megastars on your city’s sports scene–which we certainly do in St. Louis with players like Vladimir Tarasenko, Robert Quinn, and Adam Wainwright–one of the most fulfilling feelings as a sports fan is seeing a player who wasn’t expected to be special rise to an elite level of performance.

With this idea in mind, we have an Arch Award for the Best Under-the-Radar Performance of the Year. The recipient of this award should be the athlete on the St. Louis sports scene who provided the most outstanding performance without widespread recognition during the 2014 calendar year. In other words, which athlete had the best season in 2015 without widespread expectations that they would be great?

Please advance through the next few slides to see which athletes were nominated for the award, and vote for the most deserving nominee at the end of the slideshow.
