Small Forward Willie Jackson Signs Letter of Intent for Mizzou
Recent events at the University of Missouri have not deterred athletic recruits. Mizzou basketball commit Willie Jackson signed a letter of intent to attend the University this morning. The three-star 2016 recruit from Cleveland is the 42nd-ranked small forward in the nation, according to 24/7 Sports, and was recruited by 17 schools, including Ohio State and Michigan State.
The Tigers will certainly be looking to improve with next year’s recruiting class, and the 6’6″, 215 pound forward is primed to be a large part in that as the first recruit to sign a letter of intent. He will be a big part in replacing Johnathan Williams III and Montaque Gill-Caesar as a scoring threat.
In the 2014-15 season, Jackson scored in the double digits in all but one game for Garfield Heights High School, with a season high of 36 points.
