Catch the ball

I know you are tired of me talking about it, and trust me I am too. But this is something that cannot be stressed enough. Week after week, it’s mis-ran routes, multiple dropped passes, and lack of effort from the Rams wide receivers. These players have to step up their game. The Rams need to give this passing offense all the help they can, which is why drops from Brian Quick and Jared Cook last week were unacceptable. The worst part is, the majority of the drops are coming on third or fourth down, which is when you absolutely must catch the ball at all cost.

The Rams receivers have the number one option job for the taking. Who wants it? No one apparently, but when someone does decide they want it, the first step will be to make catching the ball the first priority. Britt and Austin have both had games where they got close or surpassed 100 yards, but the number one job is a consistent position, week in and week out.
