Keep Cleveland away from the end-zone

In the past few games, I’ve stressed the importance of holding teams to field goals as a key to victory. This time around, however, is different. The Rams need to start playing defense on the entire field instead of just in the red-zone. The Cleveland Browns have both a deep threat option in Travis Benjamin and a red zone target in Gary Barnidge, who stands at 6’6 and has caught a touchdown pass in four consecutive games.

The Rams need to hold Benjamin as much as possible. He sees an average of 10+ targets a game, and is the number one option for Cleveland week in and out. There will need to be a safety spy too, as Benjamin’s quick cuts and fast speed will likely fool many Rams cornerbacks.
