St Louis Rams: Keys to Victory Against Pittsburgh
By Nic Moody
Get the offense going early
The Rams played the entire first half of last Sunday with barely any vital signs of an offense. The St Louis Rams need to get both the passing and run game going early, which will pretty much rely on the run game to open up the passing game. The Rams have not been the team they wish to be in the running game. Rams running backs are ranked down at the bottom through the first two games, which is mostly a side effect from a struggling offensive line. The Offensive line will have an opportunity to create holes this weekend, because the Steelers have a lot of speed rush talent, which should help with creating a few holes so long as the running backs hit them quickly. It would be a tremendous help if running back Todd Gurley made his debut this Sunday, as he could add a small-medium boost in the rushing attack, with or without a struggling line. If the Rushing attack gets going in the slightest, it will open up the wonderful play action pass that the Rams thrive on. If that happens, the Rams are a team that can put up 25+ points.
