Cover the dump-off
This is something that drives me nuts that the Rams do. The opposing quarterback will frantically look for someone to throw to, then find his running back in the flat for a 10-20 yard gain. This is always unacceptable, but it is especially unacceptable this weekend with the return of running back Le’Veon Bell. Bell is one of the best in the business at catching passes and running for extra yards with them. If the Rams want to cut off all ends in the passing game, then covering Bell in the flat is a must.
