Missouri Tigers vs. Kentucky Wildcats: Start Time, Live Stream, TV Info and More

The Missouri Tigers open up their 2015 SEC schedule on Saturday, taking a road trip to Lexington, Kentucky to face the Wildcats. Unlike in past years, the Wildcats actually figure to present a challenge for Mizzou this year. The program, which has been revitalized under head coach Mark Stoops, started out 2-0 with a win over Louisiana-Lafayette and an upset of South Carolina before taking the loss in a wildly competitive game against the Florida Gators last week. Considering that the Tigers will be on the road–like they were two weeks ago, when they played a much-too-competitive game against Arkansas State, escaping with a 27-20 win–they better be prepared to take the Wildcats seriously and out-physical them on Saturday.

Last week, Mizzou defeated Kentucky 20-10 in Columbia, as Maty Mauk threw for two touchdowns and also led the Tigers’ rushing attack, collecting 14 carries for 75 yards. The Tigers will hope that Mauk doesn’t have to lead the run game on Saturday, as starting running back Russell Hansbrough is expected to return. The Tigers’ running game has plummeted over the past two weeks, as Ish Witter and a host of others have had to hold things down as Hansbrough has dealt with an ankle injury. Now, though, the senior will be able to return and restore some consistency to an offense that needs a strong running game with an all-new group of receivers for the second season in a row.
