Rams Vs Redskins: Grades by Position
By Nic Moody
Defensive Backs: C+
This is a hard stat to grade. The Rams defense was on the field most of the game, and the stats of Kirk Cousins weren’t mind blowing. He finished with just over 200 yards and completed 23-27 passes. The thing I am upset with is the overall effort. The Rams play soft coverage to not allow the deep ball, yet still gave up a few big plays and allowed multiple receivers to get involved with the offense. The defensive backs do a good job at wrapping up tackles, but fall short in keeping passes contained. This is another borderline grade that could have easily been a B-.
