St. Louis Rams vs. Washington Redskins: Staff Predictions

twitterfacebookreddit

The St. Louis Rams will attempt to build on the tremendous momentum that they established last week by defeating the defending NFC Champion Seattle Seahawks, as they’ll play their first away game of the season against the Washington Redskins. Several of our Arch Authority staff members took a guess at how Sunday’s game will turn out:

More from Arch Authority

Patrick Karraker (0-1)– “I still don’t have complete faith in the Rams to not be erratic, and a 2015 road debut in which they could be attempting to break as many as two offensive weapons (Todd Gurley and Tre Mason) into the attack for the first time this season provides them plenty of opportunity to do so. With that said, the Redskins just are not a very good football team, and the Rams have enough talent to put them away without too much trouble. I don’t see the Rams being as dominant as they were last season in their 24-0 win over the Redskins last season in the DMV, but I still think the Rams will pick up the win and go to 2-0 for the first time since 2001.”

Nic Moody (1-0) “The Rams did a lot of things right last week despite some minor hiccups. After a six sack performance, the ‘mob squad’ will look to give Kirk cousins a massive headache. With Nick foles playing at a solid level and the likely return of Tre Mason, the Rams shouldn’t have a problem putting up points.”

Paul Lamb (0-1)– “The Rams showed what they’re made of against a good Seahawks team: strong enough when needed on defense, and surprisingly strong on offense. Returning a couple key players, this should be easy money for the Rams against the lowly Redskins.”
