5. Marcus Roberson

Roberson, the second-year former undrafted free agent, was pressed into duty after starting corner Trumaine Johnson went down with a concussion. He performed admirably, and the Rams’ level of play in the defensive backfield didn’t drop off at all. In fact, Roberson, who was credited with six tackles and a pass defended, definitely continued to make his case as a future starter for the Rams, which could be a strong possibility considering that Johnson and Janoris Jenkins are free agents after this season. Considering his proficiency in coverage and high level of activity all over the field, Roberson was one of the Rams’ most important defensive players on Sunday.
