He performed admirably, and the Rams’ level of play in the defensive backfield didn’t drop off at all. In fact, Roberson, who was credited with six tackles and a pass defended, definitely continued to make his case as a future starter for the Rams, which could be a strong possibility considering that Johnson andJanoris Jenkinsare free agents after this season. Considering his proficiency in coverage and high level of activity all over the field, Roberson was one of the Rams’ most important defensive players on Sunday.
