Cincinnati Boos Yadier Molina and he Loves it

Cincinnati showed little love for St Louis Cardinals All Star catcher Yadier Molina. As the starting lineups were announced over the intercom for the 2015 All Star Game, fans cheered when hometown hero Todd Frasier’s name was called, but the fans were none too pleased when Molina’s name came up only a few players later. Fans booed. They didn’t just boo a little, the entire stadium erupted in boos. Even former Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols joined in on the booing, hopefully in good fun, but you can never tell, can you?

Molina, of course, being the stud player he is, loved every minute of it. Molina smiled and waved, and even pointed the double thumb behind the jersey. His reaction below:

Molina’s Reaction to Getting Booed

Molina already isn’t on great terms with Cincinnati simply for wearing the red bird on his jersey. That isn’t the only thing that Cincinnati is sore over. Fans still remember the game a few years ago where a huge brawl occurred after Cincinnati Reds second baseman Brandon Phillips said some choice words about St Louis on ESPN. Molina and Phillips argued at home plate before the first pitch was even thrown, and a brawl ensued. Here is what Phillips had said in case you have slept since then:

"“I’d play against these guys with one leg,” Phillips insisted before the game. “We have to beat these guys. … All they do is b**** and moan about everything, all of them, they’re little b******, all of ’em.”He also was quoted as saying, “I really hate the Cardinals. Compared to the Cardinals, I love the Chicago Cubs. Let me make this clear: I hate the Cardinals.”"

Molina is obviously at fault. (sarcasm) Here is the video below of the brawl:
