10. Danario Alexander

Danario Alexander’s stint with the Rams was far too short, but the Mizzou product was a valuable weapon during the brief time that he was in St. Louis. After falling out of the draft due to concerns over a multitude of serious knee injuries, Alexander signed with the Rams in 2010 and was elevated to the 53-man roster from the practice squad several weeks into the season. He went on to play in eight games as a rookie, starting two, and he had 20 catches for 306 yards and a touchdown. As part of a dreadful 2011 Rams team, Alexander had 26 catches for 431 yards and two touchdowns, starting five games while playing 10.

Unfortunately, Alexander dealt with injuries in both of his seasons as a Ram and was not the most reliable wideout. His injury issues were apparently worrisome to Jeff Fisher’s staff, and he was released before the 2012 season. Alexander went on to have a career year in San Diego in 2012, catching 37 passes for 658 yards and seven touchdowns over 10 games, but he never played in the NFL again after suffering a torn ACL in the next year’s training camp.
