Wide Receivers (5): Kenny Britt, Brian Quick, Stedman Bailey, Tavon Austin, Chris Givens

I’d like to think that the Rams are actually going to try to take advantage of their late-round draft picks this year and give sixth-rounder Bud Sasser a legitimate shot to make the team, but my gut feeling is that he’ll have to settle for a practice squad spot with Chris Givens, who severely regressed again in 2014, hanging onto the fifth receiver spot. This belief stems, of course, from the fact that the final five of the Rams’ 11 picks in the 2014 draft did not make the 53-man roster as rookies, while the front office has shown incredible loyalty to players that they’ve selected in the earlier rounds.

Since the Rams operated with only four receivers for the latter part of 2014 and seem to be even more focused on becoming a run-heavy offense this season, it’s possible that they could go with four wideouts again and carry an extra tight end or offensive lineman.
