Projecting the St. Louis Cardinals’ 25-Man Opening Day Roster

Now that the St. Louis Cardinals are less than two weeks away from their regular season opener, we’re starting to get a much clearer idea of who will be a part of the 25-man roster when the team faces off against the Chicago Cubs on April 5 at Wrigley Field. Competitions are starting to whittle down, with plenty of players having been sent back to minor-league camp, and among those who still remain it’s becoming easier to see who truly has a chance at cracking the initial roster.
Here’s a quick guess, as things stand now, as to which 25 players will be standing along the first base line when the rosters are announced on Opening Night at Wrigley.
