9. Dominique Brown, 6’2, 234, Louisville

Brown has been part of a backfield timeshare throughout his career at Louisville, never more so than in 2014, when head coach Bobby Petrino took over and leaned on former Auburn back Michael Dyer much more heavily than he did on Brown down the stretch.

Brown is a big, physical runner who isn’t going to pick up many long gains, but consistently picks up quality short ones. He has a good sense of where he wants to go and takes direct, efficient paths to the point of attack.

He’s also enough of a disciplined all-around player to contribute in the passing game, as he’s a solid pass protector and receiver. While Brown may not have been the most productive college player, he has a chance to be a more steady contributor with possible starter potential down the road at the NFL level.
