St. Louis Blues Game Preview: Team Looks to Avenge Recent Loss Against Philadelphia Flyers

twitterfacebookreddit

The St. Louis Blues will host the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday evening, looking to avenge an embarrassing loss exactly a week ago in Philadelphia in which the Flyers scored three goals within the game’s final 11 minutes to erase the 1-0 lead that the Blues had had since 12:52 into the first period.
The Blues have a chance to move into a tie for first place in the Central Division on Thursday night. They’re two points behind the first-place Nashville Predators, so if the Preds lose in regulation to the San Jose Sharks and the Blues win on Thursday, the Blues can establish a co-share of the lead. Nashville hasn’t won a game in regulation since February 24, though they picked up a win in overtime on Monday against the Arizona Coyotes.
